SHINE provides two programs for inmates at Middle River Regional Jail (MRRJ).   Staunton-Augusta Adult Learning Center provides Career Readiness Certificate classes and testing.  PluggedInVA offers a nationally recognized Logistics certification - Certified Logistics Associate.  SHINE provides CASAS testing to all incoming inmates who self-report that they are lacking a high school equivalency.  This testing allows MRRJ the ability to fast-track those who are ready to be tested and funnel those who need limited instruction into GED classes.
